Middle School students at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School benefit from having the same teacher for all four years in major subjects areas.  This allows our students and teachers to develop a bond, academically and personally.

OLMC students have many opportunities to enrich the curriculum by attending educational field trips, entering writing and speaking contests, participating in a variety of hands-on experiments, and developing presentations to share with the school community.

An example of leadership roles our Middle School students have is with our buddy classes.  This is where older students mentor younger students, attend Mass together, and work on special projects, all adding to our family atmosphere, instilling a love of learning in all that we do.  Additionally, seventh and eighth graders who are honors students work as peer tutors for those in Grades 3-8, sharing their gifts and talents with our school family as we grow together as a community of learners.
